The Zodiac in Brushstrokes: How Millennial Artists Paint Their Sign

What if your star sign didn’t just shape your personality but your creative process too? At Voized, we’re exploring how the cosmos might subtly guide the way today’s most compelling women artists create, choose their themes, and relate to the world around them.

In this first chapter of our Voized Zodiac series, we look at three millennial artists whose work resonates deeply with their astrological signs: Leo, Virgo, and Libra.

♌ London-based painter Jadé Fadojutimi (Leo) creates bold, emotionally charged abstract works that radiate drama and color. Her canvases feel like performances—fiery, expressive, and impossible to ignore. It’s pure Leo energy, bursting with confidence and intensity.

♍ Louise Giovanelli (Virgo), working from Manchester, approaches painting with precision and devotion. Her compositions are intimate and carefully built, often drawing on religious or cinematic references. Her Virgo nature shows in the ritualistic detail and quiet focus embedded in every piece.

♎ Photographer and visual artist Anastasia Samoylova (Libra), born in the former USSR and based in Miami, creates images that are as beautiful as they are critical. Through collage and photography, she balances aesthetics and urgency—a visual embodiment of Libra’s search for harmony and justice.

These artists aren’t making “zodiac art.” But their work tells us something about the creative fingerprints of their signs: fire, earth, and air, expressed in vastly different but equally powerful ways.

Follow along as we continue unveiling a new trio of artists each week, connecting art, identity, and astrology in unexpected ways.
