An Argentinian multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona, Mayen Leon’s practice resists definition. Her work mutates and adapts across mediums and visual languages, embracing an experimental approach that shifts with each stage of her inner and outer life. Focused on process, intuition, and transformation, her art becomes a way to stay present and tune in to what lies beneath the surface. She sees creation as an act of deep listening and a way to communicate with the world.
Her themes include authenticity, transformation, inner landscapes, the exploration of identity through portraiture, and the longing for connection with something beyond the self.
